Condolence: I just learned of Viola's passing today. Very sad. Viola was my 3rd cousin. I will miss talking to her about the family we were related to. She was a very nice person and we really found out some good info on the family Fowler.
I am so sorry, she was a good friend and relative.
Love, Sincerely,
TC

Condolence: Saddened to read of Viola's Passing in the A.V. Press. When I was in college & grad school in the 1970's, I was one of her & Floyd's tenants for many years at 450 East Lancaster Blvd. Both were not just landlords - they were mentors & friends to me - salt of the earth both of them. When Viola would come by Lancaster City Hall where my career work was - she just had the best and most genuine smile in the world !! R.I.P. Viola you are thought of dearly. Richard "Rick" Collins

Condolence: Viola is the reason I became an active member of DAR and she will be greatly missed. Guidance, wisdom, friendship - all of these she gave to so many. Her work with DAR and her tireless volunteering at the AV Hospital touched many in positive ways.
Viola - you will be very missed, rest in peace and know your legacy will live on.

Condolence: So very hard to write these words. I have a picture of Viola and I on my desk that was taken when were at a district meeting in Bakersfield. Happy times then. Viola was the first one I went to if I had a DAR question or something to share. If she didn't know the answer, she would waste no time finding out. I admired her spirit and will truly miss her smile, laugh, sense of humor and our weekly e-mail conversations. She was a dear friend and will be greatly missed.

Condolence: Rest in peace my friend. We shall miss your laugh, your spirit and your dedication. Thank you for sharing yourself with others and giving them a piece of their heritage (in some cases). Your love of patriotism was a fantastic example of what you stood for.

Condolence: Viola was a spitfire of enthusiasm when it came to the things she was passionate about which were many. Her dedication to public service was just that dedication. I learned so much about my lineage through her DAR service.
