Obituary for Rosana Guzman~ Madariaga

Rosana Guzman~ Madariaga
Rosana Guzman Madariaga was a beloved daughter, mother, mother-in law, grandma, sister and tía. Rosana was survived by her mother Trinidad Madariaga, her four daughters Adriana Tabibzadeh (spouse Shahin Tabibzadeh) Ashley Gonzalez (spouse Alex Gonzalez) Jasmine Ogle (spouse Junaid Olge) and Dominique Hughes; her siblings Lorena Madariaga and Juan Madariaga; her three grand daughters Stacy Gonzalez, Anastasia Gonzalez and Siena Tabibzadeh and her nieces Amariz Chavez, Alexya Serriteno and nephew Giovanni Raymundo.

Rosana was preceded in death by her grandmother Maximina Guzman, father Juan Madariaga, and youngest sister Aira Madariaga.

Rosana was born in Stockton, California on August 27, 1966. She moved to Blythe, California with her family where she graduated from Palo Verde High School in 1984 and started her career at The Department of Corrections as an office clerk in 1988. Rosana excelled in her position and was promoted to an office assistant shortly thereafter and in 1992 she attended the academy to became a Correctional Officer.

Rosana and her two eldest daughters (Adriana and Ashley, fathered by Darryl Parrish) relocated to Lancaster, California in 1992. Rosana had two more daughters; Jasmine Hughes in 1995 and Dominique Hughes in 1997 with her then husband OZ Hughes. In 2002 Rosana was promoted to a Correctional Counselor I and in 2007 she was again promoted to a Correctional Counselor II Supervisor. Rosana had an ambitious spirit, and although challenging, pursued her graduate degree while working. Always seeking to provide a successful life for her children and family, Rosana worked tirelessly in her professional life, and even moreso as a mother. Her daughters were her life, and she always sought to set a positive role model for them, exemplifying the epitome of a strong-willed, hard-working and capable woman. Everyone that knew Rosana, knew a kind, generous, and loving person that would help them no matter what. From family members, co-workers, to strangers, Rosana was someone they could count on for encouragement, solace, and support. Rosana loved her family immensely, and always enjoyed spending quality time with her family. With a smile that could light up an entire room, Rosana was always happy and positive about life. Rosana had a heart of gold, and will be deeply missed by each and every person she touched.
